The Stone Roses have played Glasgow Green twice, latterly in 2013 to a much larger crowd and on June 9th in 1990 to a rammed 'The Big Top' tent of around 7,000 people. This gig has been regarded as one of the bands best ever performances, on the back of their famous and controversial Spike Island gig. Bassist Mani has said in interviews since that is was his favourite ever gig, which was also drummer Reni's last performance.
